3 Stage Decontamination Shower

Our decontamination shower units have 3 stages of decontamination, therefore providing efficient removal of chemicals and hazardous dust.
They are ideal in workshops to provide employees with an efficient solution to decontamination. They can be used to remove chemical spills on skin and clothes, deposits of hazardous dust on people such as asbestos dust, coal dust and Metalliferous dust, making these showers ideal for the mining industry.

Easily portable decontamination solution:
The cubicles of the decontamination shower unit are easily demountable and fit through standard doorways. As a result, you can easily relocate them to other areas.
For a truly transportable solution, we offer our mobile decontamination showers which are mounted on a customised trailer so you can transport them easily from one site to another.

Easy maintenance:
The drain hose fittings of the shower cells are built in a way that you can easily access them for servicing. Wastewater is collected into a single pump/filter tank assembly and filtered.

Decontamination Shower Specifications

  • The light, but robust, shower cubicles are fabricated from aluminium sheeting with a fully welded assembly, finished with durable white powder coating and fitted with a Perspex skylight.

  • The hot and cold water feed hoses have colour coded quick release fittings and are arranged in a manner that doesn’t allow a crossover of the hot and cold system. The hoses are detachable from the hot water tank and shower ends so they can be easily replaced or checked.

  • There is a shower rose that you can be hung on the wall or handheld in both decontamination shower cubicles. The on/off taps for both hot and cold water are commercial grade ball valves.

  • The electric hot water system with a 2400 watt electric heater, and a pressure reducing valve on the tank inlet is mounted onto its own trolley.

  • Wastewater of the decontamination shower is collected into a single pump/filter tank assembly. The submersible pump automatically switches on as the water level rises within the tank, and pumps the water through an inline 5 micron Cartridge filter. The filter is housed in a clear canister for easy inspection.
